Serve this delicious marinara sauce filled with jumbo homemade meatballs over hot cooked pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb.
    lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup
    Crystal Farms® Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 cup (2 oz.)
    Better'n Eggs®
  • 1/3 cup
    seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3/4 tsp.
    ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp.
    salt
  • 1/4 cup
  • Marinara Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp.
    vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup
    chopped onion
  • 2 tsp.
    finely chopped garlic
  • 1 can (28 oz.)
    crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup
    water
  • 1/4 cup
    tomato paste
  • 2 tsp.
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp.
    Italian seasoning
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Pasta Ingredients

  • cooked pasta

Instructions

  • In medium bowl combine all meatball ingredients; mix well using hands if necessary. Form into 2-inch balls.

  • Heat oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet. Add onion, garlic and meatballs. Cook over medium heat, turning meatballs and stirring onion mixture, until meatballs are browned (4 to 5 minutes). Reduce heat to low. Add all remaining sauce ingredients except pasta; mix well. Cover, cook until center of meatballs are no longer pink (25 to 30 minutes), stirring occasionally.

  • Serve meatball marinara sauce over cooked pasta.
