Marinara Sauce Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp.
vegetable oil- 1/2 cup
chopped onion- 2 tsp.
finely chopped garlic- 1 can (28 oz.)
crushed tomatoes- 1/2 cup
water- 1/4 cup
tomato paste- 2 tsp.
sugar- 1 1/2 tsp.
Italian seasoning- 1 bay leaf

In medium bowl combine all meatball ingredients; mix well using hands if necessary. Form into 2-inch balls.

Heat oil in 12-inch nonstick skillet. Add onion, garlic and meatballs. Cook over medium heat, turning meatballs and stirring onion mixture, until meatballs are browned (4 to 5 minutes). Reduce heat to low. Add all remaining sauce ingredients except pasta; mix well. Cover, cook until center of meatballs are no longer pink (25 to 30 minutes), stirring occasionally.
