Liven up traditional cornbread with chopped green chilies, Mexican cheese and crunchy corn.

1 1/4 cupcornmeal

1 cupall-purpose flour

3/4 cupCrystal Farms® Shredded Mexican 3 Cheese*

1/3 cupsugar

1 Tbsp.baking powder

1/4 tsp.salt

1 cupmilk

1/3 cupbutter or margarine, melted

1/4 cup (2 oz.)Better'n Eggs®

11 oz. (1 can)corn nibblets, well drained

4 oz. (1 can) chopped green chilies
Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F. Combine cornmeal, flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl; mix well. Add milk, melted butter and Better'n Eggs. Stir just until moistened. Add corn and green chilies; stir just until mixed.

Spread into greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
